Meet The Team

Eat Atlanta started as a class project in an Objects and Design class. Four classmates teamed up to bring this site to life. These members included: Jayden Lee, Kevin Ghobrial, Jaden Gaskin, and Atom Valderrama. They worked under a "client" to produce a website in an industry-esque environment. FoodFinder Atlanta was the result.

The Scrum Process

Kevin Ghobrial acted as the Scrum Master for this project.

  • 2-week sprints were used to ensure a good balance between flexibility and being able to deliver quickly.

  •  At the start of each sprint, a Sprint Planning meeting was held to define the work for the next sprint. We used Trello to manage the backlog, where tasks are broken down into smaller, manageable pieces, and each task is assigned a story point value to estimate the effort required.

  • Daily Stand-Ups: We regularly provided each other with progress updates. Every day, each team member was expected to ask themself three questions: What did I accomplish yesterday? What will I do today? Are there any blockers?

  • Sprint Review: At the end of each sprint, we conducted a Sprint Review to demonstrate the work completed during the sprint.
